Technology Maestro Ltd was established to provide a flexible resource for companies, universities and research institutes, requiring support in the organisation of their innovation activities. Mark Williams, its founder and director, has spent over 20 years working with customers bringing new products to market, principally working within the research departments of Air Products and Chemicals Inc. Research and Development programme experience encompasses technologies providing new operational improvements, new products for gas-delivery systems, and new application processes that utilise industrial gases and chemicals.
Over many years Mark has ensured that projects move successfully from the original concept, through their development stages, to commercial launch. Special Success is achieved through applying a combination of specialist skills, variously in engineering design, financial assessment, risk analysis, project planning, working with team members within the technical community and the wider business team. Mark has experience of direct supervision of engineers and contractors, departmental resource planning and budget management.
More recently, Mark has delivered productivity improvements to the corporate innovation processes of Air Products and Chemicals Inc., through specific project and training provision, following the Six Sigma DMAIC and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies, and implementing the use of Continuous Improvement tools from foundational through to advanced Lean and Sigma tools.
Mark is also Musical Director/Conductor of INDEX CANTORUM (www.indexcantorum.org.uk)Â a specialist chamber choir which has performed in renowned arts venues in London and Winchester, UK. There are many parallels in the skills and qualities needed to make directing music with arts professionals successful, and being successful in bringing new innovation to fruition with engineering experts. Hence the company name that embodies the synergy: Technology Maestro.
